I'm american, a native english speaker with 10 years experience in teaching english for brazilians. I speak portuguese as well, however, all classes are in english because it's not effective to learn a second language in your native language.
I'm very dynamic and keep classes fun and upbeat, using a variety of material, from videos to handouts (sent via email). I also utilize an online whiteboard platform that's interactive, so you participate.
Classes focus heavily on conversation, but can be tailored to fit your particular needs. I've had, and currently have, multiple students from corporations such as gm, mercedes-Benz, ambev, adt, banco itaú and professional students, including physicians and attorneys.
I've lived in brazil for 10 years, therefore know the culture, which relates to me being able to efficiently ensure you learn important aspects, such as meanings and translations of phrasal verbs, slangs, etc.
I've also worked in two different english schools as a coordinator. I can guarantee your success.
